(AFP) – Tropical Storm Paloma strengthened rapidly into a hurricane
Thursday as it churned northward across the Caribbean, picking up
momentum as it headed for the Cayman Islands and storm-battered

CITY (AP) — Tropical Storm Polo formed Sunday far off Mexico's southwest
Pacific coast and was expected to remain well out to sea.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said Polo was centered
